The Smith Log Cabin

This was Joseph Smith's room when Moroni came to visit him.

The Alvin Tree. This was the actual tree planted in memory of Alvin. It was so pretty and in bloom when we were there.

This is the frame home Alvin started building and the Smith family moved into after a few years in the log home.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful.

The Book of Mormon publication site.  This was one of our favorite tours. It was really interesting and Devin practiced making his own book.

Martin Harris Farm

Day 1: Bird Observatory and Beach

We spent our first day driving to Rochester, NY where we went to a Bird Observatory for Devin. Then onto Lake Ontario Beach for some fun in the         sun.            

It was a good day except for all the driving!

Lincoln seemed to like the beach and was fascinated by the waves coming up and hitting his legs.
