Easter

Grandpa Kenney

Devin's Dad was able to get a business trip in Ann Arbor (about an hour away from where we live) We were so excited to be able to see and spend some time with him. We went up and visited him at his hotel (Lincoln loved swimming). Then that weekend he and his friend/business partner Richard were able to come down both Saturday and Easter Sunday. We had so much fun. We went antique shopping and participated in an Easter egg hunt, visited the butterfly garden and local zoo and topped it all off with Michigan's equivalent of *Aggie Icecream. On Sunday we were able to attend church and take it easy, decorating Easter eggs and playing games.
*The amazing icecream served at the best school in Utah, Utah State.

Who Doesn't love pool noodles?

Lincoln loved the water. We probably spent a good hour in the pool. The only thing Lincoln didn't like was that we kept holding onto him. He wanted to get away and try and swim by himself!

I didn't get many shots of the zoo but I wanted to at least include a couple.

Playing at the Park

With the warmer weather we cannot get enough outside time.

Lincoln loves the slides. He goes down all by himself and isn't even afraid. I can't believe my little boy is getting so big and grown up.

These pictures were actually taken the same day a few hours later. We only were a the park maybe ten minutes before Lincoln managed to find and jump into the largest mud puddle ever. So we came home and got changed before heading back outside our apartment. The cute little red headed girl in the background is our neighbor. She is just a few weeks younger than Lincoln.

Easter Egg Hunt

We found out that every year at the St. John's branch they hold a huge Easter egg hunt. I was so happy our friends  invited us to come. Lincoln was so cute  He found two eggs. (One for each hand) and was just as happy as he could be. of course that is until he found out the eggs opened and had chocolate inside then he was even happier.

Butterfly Garden

Why explore when you can sit and eat rocks instead?

I love this picture! If you look close you can see three different butterfly's!
